Actually, an old person need not despair.  They have hope.  Just because a person seems to have lost life doesn’t mean anything.  An old person is just as dust as a young person.  Just because they’re old doesn’t mean they should give up, so pray on their behalf.  Is God not the strengthener of the weak to display his glory through them?
